Eye of the Emirates To discover one of Al Qasba’s main attractions, simply look up. Standing 60 meters tall, the Etisalat-Eye of the Emirates is the most visible landmark in Al Qasba, and is one of the largest observation wheels in the region. Step aboard one of the air-conditioned cabins and you’ll be carried steadily upwards into the sky above Sharjah. From here, you can enjoy spectacular views of the city, dotted with landmark buildings, and the surrounding landscape all the way along the Gulf coast to neighboring Dubai. |

Al Majaz Waterfront Area Al Majaz Waterfront is one of the largest projects in Sharjah initiated by Shurooq. The scope included revamping the old Majaz park to a stunning 231,000 sq.m. wonder landscape that combines leisure with recreation. The highlights of the waterfront includes 8 buildings housing international restaurants and cafes, the musical cybernetic Sharjah Fountain (a key feature of the project), 2 major kids playgrounds, the mini golf and splash park for kids, as well as 4 events spaces that hosted large successful events such as 'Freej' in Ramadan and the national day celebrations. |

Arabia’s Wildlife Centre Located at Sharjah Desert Park, Arabia’s Wildlife Centre is the only ‘zoo’ in Arabia which exhibits all the animals naturally occurring in the Arabian Peninsula, both current and extinct. Opened in September 1999, this excellent facility houses over 100 species displayed in safe, spacious and natural surroundings. The centre demonstrates the diversity of the fauna found in the peninsula and creates awareness of the species, which have, and are, becoming extinct. |

Bait Al Naboodah Museum Bait Al Naboodah is a unique example of the traditional Emirati house and preserves the values of society in Sharjah. Its mission is to use this outstanding example of local architecture to recall and revive old Emirati traditions and make them known to the world. |

Sharjah Aquarium With over 250 species there is so much to see from the smallest clown fish and delicate seahorses to moray eels, rays and reef sharks. Sharjah Desert Park The park covers an area of one square kilometre and offers three venues in one with the Sharjah Natural History Museum and Botanical Museum, Arabia’s Wildlife Centre and the Children’s Farm. The Breeding Centre for Endangered Arabian Wildlife is also located at the park and is an impressive research and breeding facility, but one that is not open to the public. |
